There are many ways to support Minmahaw Education Foundation (MEF). Any contribution helps and is greatly appreciated. The program needs funds regularly to accommodate, provide food and other supplies to the students. In addition to this, MEF has future plans of expanding, in order to reach more children inside Burma and along the border.
The opportunity to attain higher education is small or none at all for most students from Burma. Without your kind donations and support, a school like MEF will not be able to continue and increase the knowledge of young people. The education of the new generation is vital for future of Burma – it is part of the fight for freedom and democracy.

will pay for the cost of one student attending school for one month, this includes food, board (accommodation, electricity, water), study materials and student supplies

will pay for student supplies and education materials (e.g. photocopies, stationery) for the school for one month

will pay for the boarding costs (accommodation, electricity, water) for one student for one year

will pay for food costs for one student for one year

will pay for educational materials (e.g. photocopies, stationery) for the school for one year

will pay for one student to obtain travel documents, take the high school equivalency exam and receive a high school certificate, paving the way for their tertiary education

If you would like to make a donation, we have set up a box where you can post cheques or bank orders and a Thai bank account where you can deposit funds. We are also in the process of obtaining a PayPal account and will advise the details on this website as soon as it is set up.

Your donation will go directly to help educate and improve the future of youth from Burma who are truly thirsty for knowledge.

We appreciate anything you can give. In particular, the school is constantly in need of kitchen and food supplies, stationary, books (exercise books and text books) and other office supplies. If you would like to make any donations of this sort, please contact us to arrange delivery or receipt of these supplies.
